Jam and bread Pudding

Ingredients

1 loaf white bread, probably won't use all of it
1 jar jam
2 cups sugar
8 eggs
5 cups of milk
2 cups frozen cherries mashed
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1/3 cup water
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Spread jam between 2 slices of bread and make sandwiches, cut into quarters and arrange side by side by side in a 9 by 13 pan then add a second layer on top.
mixed eggs, and sugar then slowly add the milk and mix well, then pour over the top of the bread in pan. Bake at 325 for 60 minutes or until top is a bit browned,
Make the sauce by puting cherries, sugar, and nutmeg into a sauce pan and boil then add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil again. pour slightly cooled sauce over pudding onve it is dishes out to serve.
