Simple Granola

Ingredients

1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoon banilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup chopped raw unsalted almonds
1 cup chopped raw unsalted cashews
flake salt for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 line a 9 by 13 baking dish with parchment paper
add melted butter, brown sugar honey, vanilla, and salt to a large bowl. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
add the oats and nuts. massage the mixture with gloved hands until all ingredients are well coated.
Pour the oat mixture into the baking dish and spread it out into and even layer. Firmly pack the mixture with gloved hands. lightly sprinkle the top with flake salt if using
bake for 30 minutes, rotating the pan half way through cooking time
let granola cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour
break into random sized chunks and store in a sealed container or zip-top bag.
